Primordial Yoga is an intimate healing centre in the Hydrostone, where small groups of five or six move through Kundalini, Hatha, Nidra, and gong sound with room to breathe.

Every session is small and unhurried, guided with care so newcomers never feel lost in a crowd of thirty. Move through breath, posture, deep rest, and sound.
Breath, movement, and mantra to shift energy and build resilience, guided in a small and supportive setting.
Guided deep rest that lets the body settle and the nervous system reset while you lie still and simply listen.
Grounded, deliberate postures that build strength and steadiness at a pace anyone can follow.
A softer, choice-led practice built to feel safe, with no pressure and plenty of room to opt out of anything.
Fully supported poses held long enough for tension to release and the body to fully let go.
Lie back and let the resonance of the gong wash over you in a meditative sound journey.
Drop-in and membership options are available. Call (226) 821-0310 or message on Instagram to reserve a spot.
Warm wood floors, a handful of cork mats, soft light, and a single bronze gong in the corner. Nothing rushed, nothing crowded.

Primordial Yoga was created by Taylor Alexandra, who spent eight years practicing on her own before discovering how much steadier the work felt in a room with others. Since 2019 she has offered a client-focused, trauma-informed approach in Halifax, keeping classes small so newcomers never feel lost in a crowd of thirty. The practice moves through Kundalini, gentle Hatha, restorative postures, Yoga Nidra, and the deep resonance of the gong.
Small groups, gentle guidance, real attention. There is no leaderboard here and no packed schedule to keep up with, just a quiet room, a few mats, and a teacher who notices how you are doing.
This is a healing centre rather than a gym. Come as you are, move at your own pace, and opt out of anything that does not feel right. Everyone is welcome, whether it is your first class or your hundredth.
